You can place your skip in most convenient locations, as long as our lorry can safely access it.
Driveways or private land — ideal and usually the easiest option.
Someone else’s property — you’ll need permission from the landowner.
On the road — requires a council permit. For more info click here
For safety and access reasons, we cannot place skips in fields or large gardens, especially in wet weather, as our vehicles may get stuck or damage the ground.
If you’re unsure whether your location will work, just ask — we’re happy to advise.

We usually ask for 2–3 days’ notice for skip deliveries and collections so we can plan routes and guarantee availability. Next‑day delivery is sometimes possible, but not always guaranteed during busy periods.

When you use our service, you can trust that your waste is handled responsibly. Our aim is to send as close to zero waste to landfill as possible.
Once your skip arrives at our yard, the contents are sorted into key recyclable categories such as glass, plastics, wood, metals, green waste, soil & stone, carpets, PVC windows, electricals, and plasterboard.
Anything that can’t be separated on-site goes to a specialist facility, where advanced sorting equipment recovers even more recyclable material. Only the small amount that cannot be reused is sent for energy recovery, helping to generate power.
It’s all about Reduce, Reuse, Recycle — and we take that seriously.

Yes — we offer several flexible options if you don’t have space for a skip or prefer a different way to dispose of domestic or commercial waste:
Commercial Weighbridge Service — available Mon–Fri, 8am–4pm. Bring your waste to our site and pay by weight. If it’s your own waste, you’ll need a free waste carrier’s licence (apply via GOV.UK). Minimum charges apply. Click here for more information.
Wait & Load Service — we deliver a skip, wait while you load it (20–30 minutes), then take it away immediately. Ideal if you have no space for a skip, want to avoid a road permit, or have waste ready to go. Requires 3 days’ notice.
Waste Clearance Van — our team collects and loads the waste for you. Perfect for quick, hands‑off domestic or commercial clearances. For more details click here

Skips are typically hired for a maximum of 2 weeks. However, longer term hire may be available upon request but there may be an additional rental charge.
-
We keep our pricing clear and straightforward. There are only a few situations where extra charges may apply:
Failed delivery or collection — if our driver can’t access the site or the skip can’t be safely placed or collected.
Overfilled skips — skips must not exceed the “level fill” line for safety reasons.
Non-permitted or hazardous items — these cannot be taken and may delay collection.
Let us know about any access issues when booking, and we’ll help you avoid additional costs.

While we'd love to accept everything, due to our Environmental Permit, there are certain types of waste we cannot take at this time. However, we’re happy to guide you on how to dispose of these items properly. Please click here to see a list of items that cannot be placed in our skips.
If you're unsure whether we can accept your waste, feel free to give us a call at 01458 834300.

Cement Fibre Board shares many similarities with asbestos, which is why we require it to be tested before disposal. Please ensure you provide us with the certificate confirming it is not asbestos, so we can demonstrate to the Environment Agency that it meets the necessary regulations.
