Glastonbury Skip Hire is a family owned and run business based in Glastonbury, Somerset. We are a leading integrated waste management and recycling business in central Somerset. Our main area of business is we collect, sort, and recycle waste materials for local and national customers in the domestic, building & commercial sectors. We have a team of sorters that hand pick through every skip, ensuring we maximise our recycling.

The government outline that waste management sites must be able to recycle 70% of household waste coming into their yard by 2030 and stopping any waste going to landfill by 2025. Glastonbury Skip Hire Limited already exceed this target, and we do not take any of our waste directly to landfill. 

Glastonbury Skip Hire Limited are a licenced waste carrier, meaning we can transport your waste correctly with no worries. The yard also always has two WAMITAB holders on site, this ensures that the waste is being recycled appropriately - More the reason to trust that your waste is being disposed of responsibly!

Our customer service desk is open 8am-5pm Monday-Friday to answer any enquiries or assist with any problems you may face when exploring avenues of disposing your unwanted items/waste. Glastonbury Skip Hire take pride in being able to say there is nothing our team will not be able to help you with, even if this is simply pointing you in the right direction if we cannot provide the service, you require ourselves. We are known for our excellent customer service, prompt delivery, and will go above and beyond to dispose of your waste in the most sustainable way we can.

Our skip sizes range from a 3-yard skip up to the much larger Roll on Roll off 40-yard skips, click here to see the size range. We can recycle most aspects of waste being produced. This includes but is not limited to; glass, PVC windows, carpets, plastics, electricals, mixed metals, green waste, soil & stone, wood (A grade + C grade) and plasterboard. If you have something that you are unsure whether we can dispose of or not, we will try our best to resolve and advise the best thing to do on where to dispose of your waste. We can also offer competitive rates for soil, stone, and metal. Although we would love to accept everything, but there are just some things we are not allowed to have in our skips, please click here to take you to out unpermitted items section. If, by mistake, one of these items ends up in our skip, we must request these are collected from the yard immediately to avoid any additional disposal charges.
